About To Be Frank

For many tāngata whaikaha and disabled people, sex and sex education remains a taboo subject. At To Be Frank, we have a team of people working to change that.

Vision Statement; Matakitenga

All tāngata whaikaha Māori and disabled people have freedom and opportunities to enjoy expressing their sexuality and to explore relationships without barriers.

Mission Statement; Koromakinga 

To Be Frank will provide an informative, explorative and relevant platform for all tāngata whaikaha Māori, disabled people and their family/whānau/āiga and allies to discuss, learn and be supported to explore sexuality and relationships.

To Be Frank rates:

  • prep time: $120 per hour

  • for 1:1 or couple work: $120 per hour contact time 

  • for professional development / group work: $120 per hour contact time

  • for agency workshops: $1400 for a seven hour workshop / $700 half day workshop

  • when we deliver out of town: $50 per deum + vehicle travel @.83cents per km OR flight costs + accomodation + transport to workshop venue etc.

Unless mentioned, To Be Frank facilitators are not licensed counsellors, and therefore are unable to provide counselling.
